At PDS we realize that job searching can be tough; you spend a significant amount of time updating your resume and work history, applying for jobs, and going to interviews. The process can be a grind. We make it easier to get hired.
Our recruiting team is awesome! Many of us came from Corp recruiting and others from agency recruiting. We have years of experience to glean upon. Your recruiter will act as a personal career coach in your job search by providing you tips to improve your resume, individual interview preparation, getting your resume in front of the right hiring managers, and we will be your advocate for getting you the job that’s the best fit for you.
Your recruiter will work with you one-on-one to go over what type of position you’re looking for, get to know your likes and dislikes about previous jobs, and will help make sure your resume or work history is error-free before sending it to hiring managers.
From day one, new hires have access to all the materials they’ll need to perform their job, as well as additional information to help them make an immediate impact. At PDS, we believe that when an employee feels part of the team, they tend to be more motivated and productive.
Onboarding at the Church is always on a Monday and is initiated by the Church. The goal of this orientation is to create a wonderful environment for you to strive to help in this most important work.
You will normally get an email a few days prior to your start date. This email will include information about your computer equipment (pick-up date, ship-date, etc.). Once you have your equipment in hand pleasinitiatede notify your recruiter.
The Church’s Online New Hire Orientation at 10:00 a.m. MDT. Watch for an Outlook calendar meeting invite from [email protected] . This will be via MS Teams.
Attendance is mandatory, and as a contract worker, you can expect that the orientation will end around 10:45 a.m. MDT.
NOTE: If you don’t receive an invite from the Church’s New Hire Orientation team by late Friday afternoon before your first day of work, please call your recruiter.
Once orientation is completed, you’ll spend the rest of the time setting up your equipment, completing orientation assignments, and meeting virtually with your team.
Brian leads the PDS operations in Utah. Overall, Brian has over 25 years of technical staffing and solutions experience. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. Brian has been with PDS for since 2011 and was instrumental in helping the Church become a key client for the company.
Brian was a pioneer in distance and remote recruiting when he opened a Utah office for a large California Technical Recruiting and Consulting company after a year of working with the organization in 1996. Brian has a passion for technology and helping people further their careers.
Brian has been awarded two technical patents around payment and identification. Brian also has a passion for coaching basketball and has coached in his spare time at the high school and elite club levels.
Allen brings over 25 years of IT and engineering experience to the team. Allen was previous the Talent Acquisition manager for IM Flash Technologies in Lehi, Utah. Allen’s heart lies in building a trusting relationship by truly listening in order to help his friends reach their goals.
In addition to his subject matter expertise in the areas of recruitment and talent management he loves to travel (scuba diving & white water rafting), spending time with his family, and his church service.
Destiny has 10 years of recruiting experience, spanning a range of industries and technologies. Destiny was born and raised in Utah and she loves all things outdoors.
On evening and weekends you will usually find her out on a trail, enjoying the beauty of nature on foot or via horseback. Destiny is an animal lover and has two rescued Chihuahua mix dogs and two horses.
Kim started her recruiting career in 2014 at the Road Home in Salt Lake City. She recruited 70 employees in her first year as a recruiter. Driven by positivity, she takes pride in providing the best employee experience possible.
In her previous position as the Director of Talent at the Grand America Hotel, she created an onboarding program that was designed to create a memorable employee experience. As a tech recruiter, her goal is to find incredible candidates to fill positions while starting the employee experience for the company they are joining.
